About me
My journey in photography commenced in 2004 when, at an event, I borrowed my father's camera for a mere five minutes. As it turned out, I did not return it for the entire day! That Christmas, I received a Nikon DSLR as a gift, and thus began my journey of self-taught lessons and experiences.

After a brief stint in the world of motorsports, I decided to establish my own photography business. I began spreading the word and soon found myself photographing weddings, which fueled my passion for working with people. It was during this time that I created Simon Gough Photography, named after my late father as a tribute to him for introducing me to photography and helping me reach where I am today.

As a father of two, I particularly enjoy capturing family-related photographs and am elated when my clients see their photos for the first time.

My passion for my customers is paramount, and I am always on the lookout for new opportunities and challenges. I welcome any ideas, no matter how unusual they may seem. So please, feel free to share them with me.
